Until the 15th of May, 2025, applications are open for CAPSTONE Projects, a type of master’s thesis promoted by Instituto Superior Técnico, focused on solving real-world challenges proposed by companies, institutions or student groups.

The project is developed throughout the second year of the master's program and is structured in two phases: in the first semester, students take part in the curricular unit "2nd Cycle Integrated Project" (PIC2 – 12 ECTS), where they work in teams to analyze the proposed challenge, study its context, and define the project's objectives. In the second semester, each student carries out an individual project as part of the “Dissertation” curricular unit (30 ECTS), contributing to the collective project.
