DEI research

The research conducted by DEI members takes place across various Research Units (UI) at Técnico. Most DEI members are affiliated with INESC-ID and ITI, but they also participate in INOV-Lab, IT, ISR, and IPFN.

Opportunities to work in science

Research at PIC1@LEIC

The DEI offers a research opportunities program for undergraduate students (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program – UROP) through the PIC1 course.
This initiative provides a unique hands-on research experience at one of the DEI’s UIs, enriching students’ academic journey by offering them a front-row view of cutting-edge science through participation in projects that push the boundaries of current knowledge.
