The Master’s Degree in Data Science and Engineering (MECD) welcomed its students for the 2026/2027 academic year on September 1.

The presentation of the Master’s programme and some relevant topics was led by MECD coordinator and DEI professor Rui Henriques.

This was followed by a presentation by Catarina Botelho, a former MECD student, entitled “Mental Health and the Engineering Behind It”.

The session concluded with a light meal, offered by DEI.
