Today, the 12th of September, the InTele (An Initiative for Telecommunications) Técnico-Huawei Cooperation Agreement was signed.

The ceremony began with a few words from Dr. Wu Hao, CEO of Huawei Portugal and took place in the Sala de Reuniões of the Pavilhão Central on the Alameda campus. Afterwards, Professor Rogério Colaço, President of Técnico, spoke. Following the signing of the protocol, there was also time for some words from Professor Luís Correia, coordinator of InTele.

The agreement now signed will allow for the creation of a Merit Award to be granted to the best student of the Master’s in Telecommunications and Informatics Engineering (METI), as well as a scholarship for master’s students in support of their dissertation development.
