Nuno Nunes, a professor at DEI, is the coordinator of the new undergraduate program at Instituto Superior Técnico, the Licenciatura em Engenharia Geral - General Engineering (GENI).

The curriculum of this new degree combines foundations in science and engineering with computational skills, humanities, and project-based learning focused on real-world challenges. From the third year onward, students will have a high degree of curricular flexibility, allowing them to choose pathways in Future and Emerging Technologies or build a personalized study plan.

GENI will be taught entirely in English, reinforcing the internationalization strategy of Instituto Superior Técnico.
