“Start to Spark” awards open for applications

Applications for the Start to Spark Awards are open until the 29th of May.

The Start to Spark program, developed within the scope of the 1st Cycle Integrated Project (PIC1), challenges university students to transform innovative ideas into real-world solutions with impact in areas such as health and technology.

The initiative will culminate in the Demo Day, scheduled for the 1st of June, 2026, at the Técnico Innovation Center, where teams will present their projects before a jury. Winners will be selected based on the quality of the pitch, business model, relevance of the problem addressed, market potential, and the teams’ performance during the Q&A session.
