DEI professors and students honored at EuroSys 2025

Two papers authored by DEI professors and PhD students received awards at EuroSys 2025.  

João Oliveira and João Gonçalves, both PDEIC students, along with Miguel Matos, DEI Professor, were awarded the “EuroSys Gilles Muller Best Artifact Award” for their paper "HawkSet: Automatic, Application-Agnostic, and Efficient Concurrent PM Bug Detection."  

Luís Pedrosa, also a DEI Professor, received the “EuroSys Test of Time Paper Award” together with co-authors for the paper "Large-scale cluster management at Google with Borg."

EuroSys is a leading conference and took place in Rotterdam from the 30th of March to the 3rd of April.
