Daniel Carvalho was the winner of the Prémio de Mérito BNP Paribas do Mestrado em Engenharia Informática e de Computadores.  

The Prémio de Mérito BNP Paribas do Mestrado em Engenharia Informática e de Computadores is an annual distinction that highlights the top student entering the Master's in Computer Science and Engineering (MEIC-A or MEIC-T). The award includes a monetary prize of €2,500, along with a donation of €1,670 aimed at improving the quality of education.  

This year, the jury included Sérgio Cabrita and Rui Dias Morais, representing BNP Paribas, as well as professors Alberto Abad and Pedro Monteiro, coordinators of the Master's program. Also present at the award ceremony, held on the 6th of December in the José Tribolet Room of the Informatics Pavilion II, was Professor Miguel Correia, President of DEI.
