Yesterday, the 7th of October, the inauguration ceremony of the new DEI Software Engineering Lab took place. The room, located on the top floor of the Pavilhão de Informática I, is sponsored by Axians.

Present at the ceremony, which was held in the Salão Nobre of IST, were Professor Pedro Amaral, Vice President of Técnico for Business Interface, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship; Engineer Pedro Afonso, CEO of VINCI Energies Portugal; Professor Ana Teresa Freitas, Head of the DEI; Engineer Carmo Palma, Managing Director of Axians; and Francisco Gouveia, a current DEI student.

After the ceremony, a light meal was served in the newly inaugurated space.
