Huawei Scholarship Program, 2nd edition 2022-2023
Huawei Portugal and .PT announced the second edition of the scholarship program for Portuguese higher education students, which aims to support 50 students with scholarships worth five thousand euros each, totalling an investment of 250 thousand euros.
The program aims to encourage the training and development of young talent in the area of technology in Portugal.
With a large number of applications, the 2023 edition of the program received more than 5300 applications from university students across the country. One of the selected students was Carolina Carreira, a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of IST (Instituto Superior Técnico).
Carolina is an Invited Assistant at DEI and is doing her PhD at INESC-ID, in the context of the CMU Portugal program.
Huawei Portugal's scholarship program for students is an important initiative to promote higher education in Portugal and to encourage the training of young talents in the area of technology.
