Did you know that... DEI rewards its students?

DEI, in partnership with several companies, annually awards six prizes to its students or groups of students who excel the most in the courses under its responsibility. This year it awarded the following prizes:

The prize, worth €1.325 (one thousand three hundred and twenty-five euros), is given to students who are part of the best team in the undergraduate course "Engenharia de Software", ranked according to their final grade in the project developed in the course discipline and evaluated by the jury. The prize is sponsored by Celfocus.

Awarded to a team from the undergraduate course "Aprendizagem". The winners of the prize, worth €1.300 (one thousand three hundred euros), are chosen through a pitch to the contest jury. The event is sponsored by NTT DATA.

The prize, worth €1.600 (one thousand six hundred euros), is awarded to the best team in the master's course "Análise e Integração de Dados", evaluated in the continuous component of the discipline and through a presentation to the event's jury. The prize is sponsored by Hitachi.

Awarded to the student with the highest performance in the master's course "Ciência de Dados" evaluated by the jury. The prize is worth €1.310 (one thousand three hundred and ten euros) and is sponsored by Deloitte.

Distinguishes the student with the best performance in the master's course "Algoritmos para Lógica Computacional" with the jury's approval. The prize is worth €1.535 (one thousand five hundred and thirty-five euros) and is sponsored by Sky.

Distinction awarded to the student with the best dissertation/final project of the Master's in Computer Science and Engineering. The prize, worth €1.800 (one thousand eight hundred euros), has two selection phases: students are ranked according to the final grade of the master's dissertation and deliver a pitch/discussion before the jury. The prize is sponsored by Jerónimo Martins.
