On the 19th of December, Deloitte and Técnico renewed their collaboration agreement. The extended partnership, for another 3 years, is an example of university-business cooperation in various knowledge areas.

This partnership encompasses various initiatives, focusing on proximity and talent development. Notable activities include support for the renovation, equipment, and maintenance of classrooms and study spaces for the benefit of students, including a space in DEI, annual merit awards for two DEI students, and a forthcoming award for the best Digital Product in Teaching at Técnico. Additionally, it involves the participation in thematic career weeks organized by student nuclei and AEIST (JobShop), as well as promoting connections between Técnico students and the business environment.

The partnership also includes a component related to Advanced Training, through Técnico+. 

Present at the ceremony were Professor Rogério Colaço, President of IST; Dr. Sérgio Lee, representing Deloitte and Professor Pedro Amaral, responsible for Business Connections and Operations at IST.
