Tekever, a portuguese unicorn recently valued at over 1.2 thousand million euros, has received the Prémio de Inovação em Ciências e Tecnologias Espaciais 2025, granted by the Agência Espacial Portuguesa.

The award was presented on the 14th of May during the 8th edition of the "New Space Atlantic Summit" conference, organized by the Agência Espacial Portuguesa. This award recognizes the most innovative initiatives by portuguese entities that have made significant contributions in areas such as Space Science, Astronomy, Radio Astronomy, Medicine and Space Exploration, Earth Observation, Space Transport, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, Space Security, and Education.

Founded by three alumni of DEI and currently led by Ricardo Mendes, Tekever is now a supplier and european leader in autonomous artificial intelligence systems.
