The Prémio Científico Universidade de Lisboa/Caixa Geral de Depósitos, with applications open until the 23rd of February, was established by ULisboa in collaboration with Caixa Geral de Depósitos to reward scientific research activities and encourage publishing in international high quality and impact journals and books . 

The award is aimed at  professors, and researchers holding a PhD who are active at the end of the application period, as well as postdoctoral fellows engaged in research activities at the University of Lisbon for at least two years, who are residents in Portugal and meet the requirements specified in the regulations.

It is worth noting that one of the award categories is "Ciências da Computação e Engenharia Informática".
