Applications for 12 PhD scholarships in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) under the CMU Portugal Program are open from the 12th of May to the 15th of June.

The initiative is aimed at students who wish to complete a PhD at a Portuguese university within the scope of the CMU Portugal Program's areas of focus:

• Computational Cognitive Neuroscience 
• Computer Science
• Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Engineering and Public Policy
• Human-Computer Interaction
• Language Technologies
• Machine Learning
• Materials Science and Engineering 
• Mechanical Engineering
• Robotics
• Societal Computing
• Software Engineering

The 12 PhD scholarships have a maximum duration of 4 years, including a research period of up to 12 months at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the United States.

An online information session about the program and the application process will take place on the 22nd of May at 3 p.m. (Lisbon time). Registration is mandatory via an online form.
