The ICPC Southwestern Europe Regional Contest (SWERC) 2025 will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of November in Lisbon, Lyon, and Pisa. The event in Lisbon will once again be organized and coordinated by members of DEI.

SWERC is a 5-hour programming competition for teams of three students, focused on algorithmic problem solving. Universities from several European countries participate, and the event serves as the regional qualifying round for the ICPC. With over 50 years of history, the ICPC is the world’s largest university programming competition, promoting creativity, teamwork, and performance under pressure.
