Arlindo Oliveira, Professor at DEI, has been selected to chair the Comité de Acompanhamento Especializado for the Agenda Nacional de Inteligência Artificial (Despacho 749/2025, de 16 de Janeiro).

This committee will play a key role in defining strategies for developing a robust and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Portugal.

The National Artificial Intelligence Agenda will be presented by the Government at the end of the first quarter of 2025, following a consultation process open to all interested contributors.
