Two articles by DEI female students receive honorable mentions at ACM CHI 2025

The articles “A Feminist Care Ethics Toolkit for Community-Based Design: Bridging Theory and Practice”, whose authors include Ana Henriques, a PhD student in Digital Media; Beatriz Severes, a PDEIC student; Hugo Nicolau, a Professor at DEI, and “Towards Neuroqueer Spatial Justice: A Critical Literature Review of Public Space Technologies for Neurodivergent Populations”, whose authors include Patrícia Piedade, a PDEIC student; Rui Prada and Hugo Nicolau, professors at DEI, received honorable mentions at the ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.

In addition to these two articles, five other papers, also authored by DEI professors and PhD students, will be presented at the conference.

ACM CHI is the world's most important conference on human-computer interaction and will take place, this year, from the 26th of April to the 1st of May in Yokohama, Japan.
