The European team, trained by DEI professor Pedro Adão, has won the International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC) for the fourth consecutive year.

The ICC is a global Capture the Flag event which, bringing together some of the best young cybersecurity talents in the world, aims to encourage skills development and raise awareness in the community about education in the field of cybersecurity.

This year, it took place in Tokyo, Japan, and featured teams from Africa, Asia, ASEAN, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Oceania, and the United States of America, representing more than 80 countries.
