PhD Thesis by DEI PhD graduate recognized by the European Association for Machine Translation

Ricardo Rei, a PhD graduate from DEI, has received the 2024 Anthony C. Clarke Award for the EAMT Best Thesis, awarded by the European Association for Machine Translation, for his thesis titled “Robust, Interpretable and Efficient MT Evaluation with Fine-tuned Metrics”.  

The thesis was supervised by Professor Luísa Coheur from DEI.
