The European team, coached by DEI Professor Pedro Adão, won the 2024 International Cybersecurity Challenge. 

The event took place from the 28th of October to the 1st of November in Santiago, Chile, bringing together seven teams representing Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Oceania and the United States. During the International Cybersecurity Challenge, participants competitively tackled complex cybersecurity challenges. 

The European team’s victory was followed by the Asian and Oceania teams.
