João Ferreira, Professor at DEI, was one of the researchers selected by Amazon Science as a recipient of the prestigious Amazon Research Award (Fall 2024) in the area of Automated Reasoning, for his project “Polyglot Automated Program Repair for Infrastructure as Code.”

The Amazon Research Awards are highly competitive, with proposals evaluated by Amazon scientists. Current and past awardees include researchers from other leading institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard, Stanford, and Yale.

The award will support Professor João Ferreira’s research on automated program repair for Infrastructure as Code.
