Nuno Santos, a professor at DEI, received the Prémio Científico Universidade de Lisboa / Caixa Geral de Depósitos, 2024 edition, in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. 

These awards aim to recognize and promote scientific research activities and encourage the practice of publishing in internationally renowned and impactful journals.
