Miguel Monteiro, a DEI alumnus, was the winner of the 1st edition of the Naoris Protocol Award, a prize aimed at recognizing the best master’s thesis in the field of cybersecurity.

The award ceremony took place in the DEI meeting room on the 15th of July and was attended, among others, by Professor Pedro Amaral, Vice President of Técnico for Business Interface, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Dr. João Ferreira, representative of Naoris Protocol and Professor Daniel Gonçalves, Vice President of DEI. Professors Carlos Ribeiro, Carlos Caleiro, and Pedro Adão were also present as members of the jury.

During the event, a donation was made to support the improvement of education quality at DEI.
