With applications open until the 14th of February, 2025, the Prémios Científicos Universidade de Lisboa/CGD aim to recognize scientific research activities and encourage publication in internationally recognized journals and publishers of high quality and impact.

The awards are intended for faculty members and PhD researchers with an active contract at the time of the application deadline, as well as postdoctoral fellows who have been conducting research at the University of Lisbon for at least two years and meet the requirements established in the Regulations.  

One of the award categories is "Ciências da Computação e Engenharia Informática."
