Bio: After more than twenty years as a science journalist, Sara Sá has just joined the Communications and Outreach Office of INESC-ID. As a journalist, she has had the opportunity to report at 5000 meters high, in the Atacama Desert, and to accompany outstanding medical procedures, in Portugal and abroad. She has also interviewed renowned scientists, some of them Nobel laureates and is often invited to moderate debates on scientific topics. She is an awarded professional, the co-author of the book "Cem Mitos Sem Lógica", a mother of two and an Aerospace Engineer.

Title: Media Relations: How to Debug Communication with Journalists
Abstract: We have web pages, LinkedIn, other social media, WhatsApp, but we still need the good old traditional media to tell the world what we are doing in our offices and our labs. How to establish a relation with journalists in a way that suits your interests and does not disappoint the media professional, is what we will address in this talk.
