Title: RESP-UC Duties towards ASC and MON

Summary: This presentation will address the duties of the responsible persons of the curricular units towards the contracted assistants and monitors who are (or will be) part of their team. In particular, attention will be given to filling in summaries and schedules, and the recommended methodology for the hiring of Specially Contracted Teaching Staff (PDEC) will be outlined. It will also focus on the fact that, in the next academic year, the available funds for hiring PDEC will be significantly lower and how this will impact the formation of the teaching teams of the courses.

Title: Credits, and DSD

Summary: The approaching start of the DSD proposal for the next year leads us to question the effectiveness of the process. In particular, it is urgent to evaluate the impact of the measures adopted in 2023, namely the attempt to control costs with hirings.

In this session, we aim to present an assessment of the process followed, particularly regarding the non-teaching credits of career teachers, the definition of the number of shifts, and expenses with specially hired personnel. There will also be a discussion on the rules to be adopted for 2024-25 considering the amounts available for such hiring.
