On September 5th, the welcome ceremony for the new students of the Licenciatura em Engenharia Informática e de Computadores - Taguspark (LEIC-T) took place at the A1 Amphitheatre on the Taguspark campus. 

The event began with an overview of DEI by its President, Professor Miguel Correia. This was followed by a course presentation by Professor Carlos Martinho, the Coordinator of LEIC-T.

The Apoio ao Estudante Taguspark (A.P.E.T.) informed about their mission and resources. Subsequently, presentations were made by the Núcleo de Desenvolvimento Académico (N.D.A.) and the Núcleo Estudantil de Informática do IST (N.E.I.I.S.T.). The event concluded with an explanation of the Associação de Estudantes do IST (A.E.I.S.T.) and what it can offer to new students.

After the welcome session, new students had the opportunity to meet with their respective mentors.
