Professor Carla P. Gomes was the speaker at the last Wednesdays@DEI: Talks of this year

Professor Carla P. Gomes from Cornell University was the speaker at the last Wednesdays@DEI: Talks session of this academic year.

Wednesdays@DEI: Talks, an initiative of the Department of Computer Engineering, aims to establish a weekly commitment to information sharing and socializing internally during each semester. With one or more guest speakers, through a brief conference, it promotes the discovery of new fields, applications, and experiences in topics related to computer engineering.

In her latest lecture, Professor Carla P. Gomes proposed an approach to Deep Reasoning Networks (DRNets) and their use, particularly scientific discoveries towards a sustainable future, solving social and environmental problems.

See you in September, Wednesdays@DEI: Talks!
