The ceremony was attended, among others, by the President of Instituto Superior Técnico, Professor Rogério Colaço, and the President of the Department of Computer Engineering, Professor Miguel Pupo Correia. In this first edition, to find the winner, 5 students with the best final dissertation/project of the Masters in Informatics and Computer Engineering 2021/2022 made a pitch, followed by a brief discussion. After the jury's deliberation, the prize, worth 1800€, was awarded to the dissertation "Towards Improving Ischemic Stroke Functional Outcome Prediction with Computed Tomography Brain Scans Using Deep Learning", presented by Gonçalo Oliveira.
