Professor Ana Teresa Freitas, President of DEI, was one of the guests at the opening of SINFO 32. The event took place on the 17th of February at Técnico Innovation Center.  

During the event, the Professor highlighted the exceptional student-driven associative effort that SINFO represents, as well as its continuous evolution and growth. On the event it was also brought to attention the gender balance among the event’s organizers, in contrast with the DEI student body, where only 16% of it is female. A strong desire to change this situation in the near future was made evident.

The ceremony was also attended by Professor Rogério Colaço, President of IST and Professor Luís Castro, Vice-President of the Universidade de Lisboa.
