ACM-W Portugal, a national section for ACM-W professionals, is currently being created.

ACM-W is an international institution whose mission is to celebrate, inform, and support women in the field of computing. In this regard, it advocates for their involvement in all aspects of the computing field, providing a wide range of programs and services to its members and working with the community at large to promote women's contributions within this domain.
